CHRISTMAS HOME TOUR~Part 2~

Today is the Party Christmas Delights hosted by Deena, click on the link to the right to visit wonderful Christmas decor and treasures from other participants today. Have fun!

Welcome back to my home tour part 2. I have added simple touches throughout my home to reflect the holiday season. I hope you enjoy visiting me again as much as I enjoy having you here.

Large hand painted wood Santa stands on a window sill.
Sewing Santa stands near my sewing machine. He is so cute and was a gift from my Sister in law.

The above Santa's are a few from my collection. They are displayed all around the rooms. The pictures below are a few from our room we call The Library. It is filled with our books and I had to add a little tree here to keep us company in the evenings.

These next two precious dolls are made by my friend Randi from, In my Mother's name, They grace a bedroom and add a handmade touch to a vintage red room.

This sweet snowman plaque was designed and painted by my dear friend Lorri. She is a beautiful painter. This snowman sits a top a cabinet in a blue bathroom.

Silver bottle brush tree and a cluster of wood frosted trees sit on a vintage desk under my special and loved painting by Karen Harvey Cox. This is also avaiable in her etsy shop. Click on her blog in my right sidebar to see her wonderful hand painted treasures. Remember you can click on the picture to enlarge and see Karen's painting closer.

Pink wood Santa profile is made from a 2X4. I painted this many years ago. He holds a back pack filled with trims and ribbon.

The pictures below are from a night stand in a bedroom. The vintage bowl with old ornaments is the one used in my header. The angel is a vintage angel doll music box. It was my Mother's and is very precious. I believe it is from the early 1950's.
Carved angel with hand painting on her wings and dress.

I love having Christmas books around the house. This sweet story would be one you could read if you were a guest in my home. It graces the night stand in the red room.
Beaded red angel looks pretty standing next to a large vase of red and yellow silk poppies.

Dress form on a vintage dresser showcases vintage ornaments from the 40's.

This star Santa looks very old, but it is actually made from 5 bottle brush trees and centered with a santa face to make an ornament. I found this at Home Goods. I have it displayed on a vintage floor lamp from 1945.

Bathroom vanity with a display of sage green bottle brush trees and pink crystal bowl filled with vintage ornaments.
Texas snowman stands next to the old sewing machine drawer filled with Christmas cards. I painted this many years ago and it makes the perfect box to hold cards.

Mother of pearl kissing angels, made by my Mothers in the 70's.
It has been a full day. I have made a pot of homemade chili. Join me for dinner. It will hit the spot on a cold winter's day.

Beazy is pooped from all the decorating. She is sneeking a nap on the bed with one eye open, watching for momma to tell her to get off the bed. LOL!!

Thank you for stopping by to tour part 2 of my home tour. It has been so fun to visit so many blogers with wonderful Christmas home decor. I have gotten so many great decorating tips and ideas from the many lovely holiday blogs I have visited this week. The studio is winding down for the season, but I do have a couple pictures to share of new designs I created from extra tussie cones.

Inverted tussie cone hand painted with santa dreaming of Christmas, and roses painted on the sides and trailing around his back.

Tussie Santa with bird and nest top his head. Roses are painted on the back side for reversal after the holiday.

Till next time, Enjoy the season! Merry Christmas!~~Blessings Celestina Marie

Hi Celestina!

Oh I loved part II of the tour! Everything is so beautiful!! I love all your Santas, very pretty. The handpainted ones you've done are especially darling! Mrs Beazy took a well deserved nap, I'm sure she was a big big help to you making sure you didn't trip over any boxes and placed the ornaments in their proper places. Give her a pat on the head for me!!

Glad I saw part II, I've been watching for it!

Holiday hugs, Sherry

Hi Celestina! I have so enjoyed your Christmas Home Tour! Your Santa collection is wonderful - I especially love the one in white holding the bell wreath and crossing his legs. And I love equally as well the pink Santa you painted. Your bathroom vanity is lovely. That room looks so comforting and relaxing!

In addition to The Tea Room, I've begun another site called Seasons for All at Home. I'm participating in a couple of holiday home tours this week, too, and would love for you to stop by! (For convenience, I'll include that link here instead of The Tea Room.)

Merry Christmas to you and yours, and thanks again!

Hi Celestina,

You have so many beautiful things. You are a talented painter and decorator. I enjoyed your home tours very much.
Is the bottle brush Christmas tree fanned out or in the state it was bought? Cute idea.
Everything looks so inviting, I know you are enjoying it all.

Celeste,

The strangest thing happened! The minute I clicked on your blog I got a whiff of a pine Christmas tree. It was so strange. Your holiday home looks as though it is filled with scrumptious baked goods cooking in the oven and sweet cinnamon floating throughout the house.

I have to admit I absolutely adore your Pink Santa tussie. Wow, wow, wow. I love the imagination of others and how the use it to create such amazing treasures that I've never seen before. Just gorgeous.

I hope you have a fun weekend. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Celeste, I love all your wonderful Christmas decorations. I love the white bottle brush in the teacup. But my favorite is the profile pink santa on your vanity. It reminds me so much of the painted stuff she use to do. She doesn't paint anymore, but I am constantly trying to get her to go back to it. I could sew and she could paint!

Hope you are warm and cozy this cold winter night. hugs, Ellen
