My Mother loved pink roses and with every rose I paint, plant, or receive, I think of her. Over the years, my Mother sent to me many letters, cards, keepsakes and special treasures, just because she was special and shared a part of herself with me and everyone she knew.
Recently, I have thought a lot about those special keepsakes and when I viewed sweet Amy's "Mom's Keepsake Box" from, BUNNY ROSE COTTAGE, I knew it would be perfect for my collection.
When it arrived, I was so excited because it is so beautiful in person! She made it look very vintage with much love, care and so many details. Even a gorgeous cameo, which was among my Mother's favorites, is included on the side tied with pretty binding. Well, I will let you see for yourself in the pictures that follow. A few past works~~dogwoods on a tray, hand painted study from many years ago! Hand painted garden rose angel with yellow bird. Sweet little bird clock, chickadee in the hydrangea, violets on a plate, and cross stitch roses on a tea towel.
My mom passed away eight years ago and I miss her everyday. She would have loved this keepsake box and I look forward to filling it with many treasured cards and pictures in honor of her and also add cards that I have received being a mom too.
