WELCOME! YOU ARE INVITED TO A PORCH PARTY JUNE 5TH!

Today we are gathering on our front porches with blogging friends across the country hosted by Rhondi at ROSE COLORED GLASSES She had a great idea to show our porches and have a party. The places we gather and enjoy with our family, friends and neighbors.

My porch is not a real big one that you can really sit on with more then two, so I am greeting you there and then taking you to my back porch to have our party.

I also will share my side sitting area that is the front of my studio that I shared a few posts ago. This area has always been a meeting spot with my friends and family to gather and visit. I like to come out on a typical painting day and relax on the sweet garden bench my hubby made for me. Beaz and I can spend comfy breaks with a cup of tea and a good book. So welcome to my porch party and I invite you to stay awhile and enjoy a few snacks with ice tea or lemonade. It is wonderful to have you stop by~~ Thank you for coming!

When you walk up to my porch you will be greeted by my porch rooster, my dark rose red distressed door, and my vintage rose wreath.

To add to my entry, I have accented the area above the door with a faux vine called the potato plant. It trails across, under the windows and is easily applied with a couple of brick spikes, and what else, hot glue!

This area is the side porch that I created in front of my studio. The garage door is permanently closed and acts as a cupboard wall on the inside of the studio. When I am working I can hear the jingle of the wind chime that hangs here. The hanging flower is a double bud purslane.

Let's go around to the back porch now. We will have more room to sit and enjoy a few snacks I have made for the party.
This area is a covered back porch where my family spend a lot of time. In the early spring and fall we make a little fire to warm the area.

Perhaps you'd like to relax in this spot with a good book and enjoy the sunshine!

Let me go in and bring out the snacks. Can you see Miss Beaz in the background over looking the pool. She is always ready for a swim! Here are the snacks, Help yourself and enjoy!

For a sweet treat, I have made chocolate nut clusters, by just melting semi sweet chocolate chips and adding either peanuts, almonds or pecans. Mix all together, drop by spoonfuls on wax paper, let cool and place in candy paper cups. Yummy!

Miss Beaz has been so good today greeting all of you to the party. I made her some homemade dog biscuits. I think these will make her happy!

Thank you so much for coming to my front and back porch party. For a parting gift, I am sending you home with a tin full of butter cookies. It has been wonderful to have you visit and I hope you will return soon. Till next time, Blessings always, Celestina
