WHAT'S NEW FROM THE STUDIO
Here are a few items I have been working on.
"Tusan Poppy Field Neighbors" I painted this design on the oval wall tray a few years ago and now brought it to the large canvas.
Finished Jelly Jars coming to my Etsy Shoppe along with a request for black with pink roses.
Lastly I have brought back an old favorite hand painted on "International Cafe Coffe cans. I have designed with these for years. They are so fun and can be designed in so many ways. For this one, I painted the can and embellished the snap on lid with fabric and flowers adding trim. So many uses for these little sweeties, from using for gift giving to storage of creating supplies. Perfect for tea bags or sugar packets even displayed on the dressing table or vanity

Something must be in the air! I posted on Friday about starting to add the color blue to my yellows and reds in my country french style decorating! Your blue touches look wonderful in your kitchen.
I love the Tuscan Poppy painting. It reminds me of my trip to Italy last year.

Ah cobalt blue is a "wow" color to me, one that I love and is a favorite of mine. When I used to make pottery, I used cobalt blue all the time...I think it is a beauty of a color. Your kitchen is lovely...as is your whole house..magazine material for sure.

I always have a monent to shar with you Hon...Three words.Drop dead gorgeous!!!You have an eye for color for sure.Its just beautiful.I love that tall pitcher at near the bottom,The tall slim one.The blue is devine.And of course i love how the jelly jars and coffee can turned out.I had no idea they would look like that.Do you even let your family go into the kitchen? Oh Tuscan Poppy Field Neighbors...sigh, this design has stolen my heart. Your blue and white is fantastic. I so envy that everything looks like it stays in one place. My house...a husband who loves rearranging things, two teen daughters, a teen living with us, two dogs, a cat, several hamsters and a rabbit. OMG lions tigers, and bears, it can cause havoc in one's house, you know. But then again, I can come here for a visit and dream.

I love your blue dishes and that antique jug is gorgeous.
When I was young one of the first things I bought with my pay packet was a blue and white willow pattern dinner set. I am sorry to say there are not many of the pieces left.

First of all I want to say that you have a beautiful blog Congrats on the makeover, Jan did a great job. That is how I found your blog *smiles*. I love what you did with the coffee cans, what kind of paint is safe to use and how many layers do you have to do to cover the can. I'm not sure what kind of coffee cans they are. I wanted to do some for our Women's Ministry Baskets that we do for women who going through difficult times. We make up basket of goodies and it makes them so happy to recieve them.
