Pink Coat Santa

Painting days are the order of the season and I am enjoying every minute.
Recently I was treasure hunting, and came across a gorgeous wood carved Santa that needed a redesign.

He started out with a red coat, but quickly was dressed in a pink with winter roses, berries and fur trim, all redesigned after he came back with me to the studio.
He stands 17" tall and holds an icy aqua gift bag in one hand and wears furry trim at the base of his coat.

Glittered for holiday sparkle, he just walked over to my etsy shoppe in hopes of a new home for Christmas.

While I was on my treasure hunt I also found some gorgeous wood carved Christmas trees. They were originally green and quickly were hand painted with a fresh snow white and glittered for sparkle and winter dreams with shabby cottage charm.
This set of 2 trees also went over to my etsy shoppe and hoping to go home with someone for Christmas. They would love to be displayed with winter cottages or shine on a pretty mantel.

Many more treasures are in line to be redesigned and I hope to get it all finished for Christmas, but I always feel behind at this point of the season and never can finish everything, however each year, I give it a good try.
So back to the studio I go for more fun and happy creating.

I'll be back again soon to share some of my large hand painted Santa's from years past, and till then, have a great Autumn day.

Blessings always,
Celestina Marie

Hello Celeste, your pink Santa and glittered little trees are so pretty! You certainly put a magical touch on everything... I love the little dainty roses on Santa and the pretty little pink and white crystal snowflakes!... and your little white trees are just adorable!... have fun creating these beautiful treasures... I have been hesitant about decorating yet, but looking at these pretties makes me want to start... love to you... xoxo Julie Marie

Celeste, you are truly talented! I love your pink Santa and the pretty white trees. I am inspired to paint now. I am working on a pink Santa too but he is not as pretty as yours. Maybe i will post a pic when I am done. Enjoy your painting!

Dearest Celestina Marie,

Whatever comes your way turns out being better! A natural born artist with great ideas. This also looks so much more calming and soothing than a loud red...

Enjoy your 'productive' week!

What a lovely idea - to give new life to old objects. I love the trees in their new white paint; they are so pretty and charming! And the detail on the Santa is exquisite; you are one talented painter Celestina!
I know what you mean about feeling behind. Right about now, every year, I wonder why, oh why, didn't I start sooner?!?
I'm sure you will get there, and I hope I will, but the part you wrote about heading to the studio has helped me to remember that I need to stop thinking about how much work I have to do and instead about how much fun it is to be able to do this. Thanks and hugs!
