Pumpkin Spice and Autumn Roses

Today is another fun shopping day with Make Mine Pink and shopping with a twist. "Pumpkin Spice and Autumn Roses" is the theme today.

While I was preparing for this post, I took an Autumn walk around my garden to view the roses I still have in full bloom and so lovely. Grabbed my camera and had some fun taking a few pics and then putting my artistic touch to them.

With Thanksgiving upon us and the days turning cooler here in Texas, I am thankful for the blooms I can still enjoy. My roses today seemed to talk to me as I spent time among these gorgeous blooms. Some roses looked as though they were bowing their heads in prayer. Such peace and calm awaits in the garden. I hope you enjoy these few garden delights.

Even the pansy power had something to say!

My favorite today are the roses that were bowing their heads in prayer.

Thank you for stopping by and joining in my walk in the garden to celebrate pumpkin spice and Autumn roses.
I hope you have a wonderful Autumn day filled with promise and thanksgiving for the beauty around you. Till next time, you can find me swinging paint brushes and sprinkling fairy dust!
Blessings to you,
Celestina Marie

Dearest Celestina Marie,

Indeed a blessing for this time of the year to have roses. Guess the bowed rose-heads are out of respect of our Veterans... A great natural gesture!

Have a great weekend and greetings from Georgia,

Celeste, this was a fun post! I love your clever ideas for filters over your roses and the 1st photo of the bench in your garden...a worthy still life for a painting perhaps?

I'm sorry for the loss of your father. God bless.

Hugs, Diane

Your garden is blessed to have blooms so late in the year. I had my last rose about a week ago. Today it was 72 for which I was grateful. The dogs frolicked in the yard, I washed windows and dreamt of thanksgiving to come. I love this holiday more than any other. The colors, the smells... so powerful. Hugs. Tammy

What a lovely post honey! So glad you decided to share your garden with us.
I so enjoyed my special visit with my secret visitor. lol She is as lovely outside as inside. I told her I had to keep her visit a secret until after the holidays because of my sons reading my blog. They are very protective of me and would have a fit knowing someone visited me from blogland.
Also she wants to post pictures of me and while I work where I do I can't do pictures of myself on blogs. I feel bad putting such restrictions on her posting about my special visit from her.
She is quite the lady to know and love and I enjoyed every minute with her.
Hope your having a great weekend
Love
Maggie

Hi My Friend. I loved sharing the walk in yur rose garden. I love roses. I should have snitched the beautiful buds about a weekago, because Mr Frost got them. We are in the 40's today and we aren't going to go much higher. We had the rain and cold yesterday, but no snow for which I am very thankful for. Have a great day. Your Missouri Friend.
