Dearest Celestina Marie,
What a thoughtful pillow and so nicely done. A pineapple pattern (sign of hospitality!) used for the crocheted skirt. It looks perfect in your photo. Enjoy it.
Lots of love,
Mariette
Those pink pillow cases are so pretty. My sister crochets, and I think it is such a talent when people do.

Well here I sit and I am taking a break in cleaning out my painting room. What a mess..anyway just read your message about your uncle in WW11 in Italy. Wonder wonder. He was on a destroyer and just cruised there from America..then invaded and was bombed and sunk. There was survivers. Was you uncle on that destroyer? Wouldnt that be something if they were together? Now about your pillowcases you won. OH my goodness are they ever gorgeous. You are so lucky..how beautiful. Love you painted things. Youve inspired me to get busy and paint...if I ever get my messy room cleaned up.Hugs sally
