Romantic Homes Feature
In: blue willow dishes, Celestina Marie, Romantic Home Feature 3:21:00 PM By: Celestina MarieCongratulations to my grandmother, Celestina Marie on her gorgeous BLUE WILLOW DISHES that I love and keep in my care, which are featured in the February 2012 issue of Romantic Homes Magazine. I am so happy that her lifelong collection is pictured on the pages of one of my favorite magazines.
If you are a follower of my blog you know the many stories I have shared about these keepsakes plates and accessories that I hold dear to my heart handed down to me through my grandma and mother who have since passed on. From childhood memories of holidays, birthdays and family gatherings, Blue Willow has been apart of my life forever. Imagine how happy I was to have the opportunity to share a few pics of my display in the Feb. issue and a few more here of the vintage hutch they live within.
Nana would be happy that I have taken good care of her keepsakes and these very old and loved plates made a little place in history.
Where the photos were taken in my vintage hutch, full view and one of the very old cups and saucer with an inside cup design.
The article points out history information and ways to display these treasures.
I hope you have the opportunity to pick up this Romantic Homes issue and enjoy the beauty of the vintage treasures this issue has to offer. The editor,
Jacqueline de Montravel, writes a beautiful opening letter titled Past Performance~
Till next Time~

p.s. please note to all readers, it seems that malicious adware has attached itself to blogland and many blogger posts. I have seen it everywhere. Do not click on the pink words throughout posts you see when you scan over and see an ad. These are spam and I did see it as an issue in blogger problems and being reported. Hopefully this is being fixed. Just wanted to pass on the info. Stay safe.

Hi Celestina Marie,
How lovely that you have an article in Romantic Homes magazine, congratulations!.
This is wonderful to see your beautiful photographs of the gorgeous blue and white china, belonging to your dear Grandmother. I shall look out for the magazine and pick up a copy. Also thanks for the information about the problem in blogland and shall look out for this.
Happy weekend

I'm so happy for you Celestina! Your Grandmother would be pleased. As I mentioned to you earlier, my favorite tea cup is the blue tea cup, and yours are beautiful. I'll have to get a copy of that and read it with a cup of tea.

Congrats on the wonderful magazine article. I know your Nana would be proud. They are beautiful dishes.
Dearest Celestina Marie,
Wow, what an honor for being featured in the Romantic Homes, February 2012 issue. Your Mama and Grandmother will be smiling down from heaven for sure! So proud of you dear friend!
Love to you,

Oh Celestina Marie, what a beautiful feature of the chinaware! Congratulations on this. How special that is to have your beloved grandmother in memory like this. That is so touching! I can't get the magazine here unfortunately but would have bought it for sure! It's so so pretty! You must feel so proud! Enjoy!!
Blessings and hugs,
Ingeborg ;-))
What a blessing to share this family heirloom with everyone in the blog and now the magazine. Congrats!
You must be so happy to share your Gram's Blue Willow with the world. It is beautiful. My very first set of dishes was given to me by my mother and it was Blue Willow. Unfortunately, I no longer have them (military moves = lost dishes). I just know your Grandmother is beaming with pride that you took such special care of her dishes and love them as much as she did. I will purchase my copy of RH this week.

Congratulations! That is so awesome. I'll look for the magazine. I love Blue Willow dishes, too, and collected them when I was a teenager!
Hugs, Cindy
how wonderful! congrats to her! my blog is supposed to be in it but i can't find the issue yet! susan
How wonderful! It must put a smile on your face every time you pick up the magazine and look at the photos of your beautiful family treasures. I am thrilled to bits for you.
Oh Celeste, I'm so glad you posted about this article - I get this magazine and am running to read it now. I have the Italian SPODE colleciton and some other blue/white's myself. They're not heirlooms, but I enjoy the bright cheeriness that a blue and white display gives. Your hutch with them displayed is fabulous. My beloved and I are going to put a vintage white linen distressed finish to our current oak hutch/base. We cannot wait - this has inspired me even more to get this done in 2012.
Love you friend~ xoxo
