Inspiration, In a Shell

By the sea, by the sea! Oh I so enjoyed to design and paint these beautiful large oyster shells last summer. I love beach cottage decor and when mixed with pink roses, it's all dreamy.

Oh how I wish to drift away in this sail boat and return to this rose cottage by the sea. Where roses are planted and the water so blue. Where days are lazy and the nights full of stars that twinkle off the water.

Are these days close by? I hope they are as I prepare to create new shells soon.
Perhaps roses in pink like they are floating on the water. Another cottage to spend summer days or a sail boat to drift off with dreams of days gone by.

With my garden trying to wake from it's winter slumber, I create and plan to work the dirt soon and feel the warm earth in my hands letting the inspiration guide my designs.

Are you looking forward to spring and warm summer days once again? Are you planning your garden? Could you be dreaming of beach or pool cottage days?
I will do both as I swing my paint brush and continue to create.

Have a wonderful February day.

Smiles, Celestina Marie

Dearest Celestina Marie,

Oh my, I almost jumped up thinking you'd produced those lovelies again... Longing for that time indeed! But time is already moving on rather fast; so let's not push ourselves.

Love to you dear friend.

Mariette

Oh my you got the spy messages still on. PLEASE try to get them off, on Saturday I wrote about how to. They are so hard to decipher and strain the eyes so much...

Such lovely creations, my dear!! And, yes, I am dreaming of warmth and summer and sea. However, knowing that it's still a long way off in my neck of the woods, I have planned an early April trip to Florida...to see my beloved in-laws, some dear friends, and the glorious ocean.

Wishing you a lovely day.

Love,
Patti

Hi Celestina Marie,

I love the sweet Rose cottage near the seaside and how lovely that you are painting them on the shells.
My Grandmother used to make shell Ladies and would paint them all so pretty and cover boxes and frames with shells.
Autumn is on its way here, which I am looking forward to cooler days.
Enjoy creating and painting and sure it won't be long before you can enjoy the garden again.

Enjoy the rest of the week
Hugs
Carolyn

It just amazes me that you can take such a simple thing as a shell and turn it into such a beautiful work of art. They are all just gorgeous.

Wow Celestina Marie, what a talent you have! Your painting on those shells is fantastic!!! What an idea to paint shells. Really really pretty :-)) I can't wait for the flowers to bloom this summer. I'm planning on planting an apple tree this year, and some botanical rose bushes to harvest fruit from them. I also want to sow a lot of wild flower plots! So many dreams! LOL I can see you swinging with your brush LOL LOL!
Swing it out baby LOL!

Yes, my dear friend, I am most certainly dreaming of those days of being on the beach and digging my tooties into the sand! It's a long ways away yet though here where I live. We just had another snow storm. But Spring is coming. I love your painted shells; so pretty! I love the pink roses especially. I have just signed up on your Linky followers so I won't lose you. Hope you're having a delightful week.

Blessings and hugs,
Sandi
