Happy April!!
Hope you all enjoyed a special Easter!
****
Today I have a project to share that is quick and easy.
Using a 4 piece set of cork tiles
(they come packaged in sets of 4) from the craft shop,
I created this inspiration board
for my studio
adding it to a cabinet door.
I have tons of fabrics that would have looked great covered over the cork,
but since I am really loving the natural look at the moment~
I decided the cork just left plain would work best.
But of course,
it still needed a little something~
so I stenciled some quick designs and words to inspire
using black acrylic paint.
Once complete and dry,
I added a few pics that I collected from some of my favorite catalogs
along with a few elements too.
Quick and easy!
The sets of tiles come with square stick pads for positioning.
*******
As you can see
I only used 3 tiles and have them at eye level on the door.
Fun to add to a craft room or studio space.
I may add a few more on this wall of cabinets
for different inspiring themes.
Thank you for stopping by.
***********
See you next time.

Happy Creating!

You make 3 simple cork tiles look so glamotous! And your ideas are so creative. Thank you and have a beautiful week! xx
What a fun and functional project! Am definitely going to need to do this for my beading room! Thanks so much for the inspiration!

Great idea, Celeste! I love how you decorated them. I like them in the natural state with the few designs you put around it. It looks like the perfect spot for it, too.
such a great idea, celestina!! have a great week!
I love this idea. It is pretty, inspiring and simple! I have a collection of wine corks and have intentions of making a cork board for my home office. Honestly, I do not have the time to make one. This however I could do!
Quick and easy...that's my type of project! Looks good, too.

These look so pretty. Gives me an idea of what to do with 3 cork boards I have.
Have a great week!
That is quick and easy and it looks really great. Love that you put a sweet little flower on it- xo Diana
Another great idea that you shared with us! I, too, appreciate the natural look but the beauty of this is that you can always take them down and cover them with some of your fabric. Then it will feel like a new space! My eyes spied the tissue paper rolled flower. I just love making those and in fact, for a swap, I have made 8 of them in bright, printed fabric. Usually I go for the neutrals but I must say, I really like this pop of color! Thanks for sharing, friend!!
Really handy idea to put them on the cabinet!

What a great idea. Thanks so much for sharing this post.
Happy Spring

Love the idea of stenciling them! I have an entire closet door covered with those tiles but it is so think with layers of "stuff" you wouldn't be able to read the words if I had them. Maybe I need to clean that thing off now and then!
What a great idea...love it!!
hugs,
Cindy
What a great idea Celeste and it looks beautiful! ~Diane
Great idea, we have to use any space available. I see our paint chip hanging there. I would love to see you try some cake decorating on furniture, I know it would be great, I used a small rose tip.

I LOVE these type of organizational items. Now, I just have to get organized enough to do them! I've always wanted to add corkboard on the inside of my computer cabinet. Thanks for the inspiration!

Sometimes simple is best and this really fits that. Love the practicality and ease of this project. Creative Bliss Dear...
I'm loving the natural look too and I especially love it with black. Great idea for a craft room.
What a great project! Great idea! I have a new weekly link party which is live now and I would love if you stop by and link up this wonderful post! Hope to see you there! http://mariaelenasdecor.blogspot.com/ Hugs, Maria
Celestina, Thanks for the inspiration. I have these cork squares hanging inside my computer cabinet doors. Mine are boring except for the lovely art I pin to them. I think I'll have to add some stencil or stamp images to the background. Joyous Wishes, Linda
Celestina,
Just when I think you can't get any more creative, I see this!! This is such a unique inspiration board. The words, Wish, Dream and Joy make it so special too. This is something that I would love to create myself.
I hope your first week in April is a wonderful.

Celeste, you make simplicity even more alluring than it already is to me. I love this.
Hope you had a beautiful Easter, my friend.

I love this idea!!! Truly I do. This would work on a door, a cabinet, a wall.. anywhere. Awesome post C. I also love the stencil you added to give it a personal touch. That is priceless. Well done. Hugs. Tammy
OH.. GIVEAWAY TIME!! Come by and put your name in if you like.
I love this! Yes, not placing fabric on it, makes the design look so elegant! Just wonderful!
Brilliant! I love this and it looks so pretty with all your inspirations attached - such a very good idea!
I see that you have been busy creating and organizing, Celestina! Your cork inspiration board is perfect for your space, love how you have personalized it. And I am really loving that Behr cream paint color, too on the swatch!
Celestina,
What a great idea!! I am now thinking where I could do this...
Hugs,
Deb
I always love your talented creations! So ironic, I was just thinking of making a bulletin board , but with something French. Today I am going to an Easter egg hunt with my dogs, its for the Therapy Dog Foundation. I was going to create all day, but I decided at the last minute to go. It will be alot of fun. Hope you have a blessed day!
