Looking Forward to Flower Power

Okay, call it a Flower Power Garden
or
a Walk in a Calm and Peaceful Place.
This is how I feel about my garden.

~Happy New Week~

I thought it would be fun to look back
on my garden as I prepare for spring.
A spot to be in when the day is hectic,
cluttered and long!
 Where the springtime blooms will
bring me to a peaceful ease.
I will walk once again in the garden
and enjoy the blooms
bright and beautiful.

A walk to clear the mind.

A place to pray and be thankful.

Thinking of days to come.

My favorite roses in all their beauty
telling me spring has come once again.

A visit here will bring blessings,
joys and remembrance.

A garden that has given birth to many a sweet birdie.

Soon this hydrangea garden will be in full bloom.

Azaleas, bright for springtime.

Tiny white roses filling a garden arch have been home to many a birdies
and their sweet families.

Pretty vintage tea roses greet me as I round the bend
to view flowers that seem to say,
"come visit me, I have a gift for you"

Thinking back, it seems like forever,
Looking forward it feels like tomorrow!
when I will say~

"My you are gorgeous this season~
Are you enjoying the warm temps?
oh too soon it will be very hot,
but I will do my best to protect you."

***

I know they are thankful for the care,
just as I am thankful for the
serene and beauty they share each day.

Moments among the blooms,
natures beauty to enjoy.

Thank you for joining me.

My flowers thank you for coming along
for a walk in the calm.

Wishing you

flower filled days
looking forward to spring.

Smiles and Southern DayDreams

The pictures of your flowers are so pretty. I was just talking to David yesterday that I am afraid we will be losing some of our plants due to this extremely cold weather and snow we have been having. Cannot wait til spring.

Oh! I can only dream of Spring here. Thanks for the glimpses of your beautiful flowers and gardens. We won't start getting green here until late April or early May. We can't plant outside until after Memorial Day because of fear of frost. It seems a long way off to me still.

Have a sweet Sunday, Celeste! xo Diana

Amen Sister. It is definitely just on the cusp of spring for us, isn't it? We went to the Dallas Arboretum this week. Beautiful!! There are thousands of bulbs blooming already and it smells like heaven out there.

Spring can't come fast enough for me, Celeste! Seeing your flowers makes my planning come to life in pictures. I have been thinking about what I want to plant this year and how I want to set things up. It is kind of hard to do when there is snow all over the place! The coming week's forecast is not very promising either, but I'm hoping that soon it will be warmer.

i don't garden or keep flower beds - except for two lantana plants that have managed to survive and some morning glory vines i finally got going - but i'm looking forward to the wildflower explosion!

You know I'm ready for spring. It should be fun this year starting some of our landscaping this year. Hard work for John but fun for me.

Learning the way the sun moves around the house for planting. Great pictures

Oh, the promise of spring.....but we have a long wait, our safe planting time is the second weekend in May, or Mother's Day weekend. But the daffodils will be up next month and they are always a welcomed first sign of spring.

Happy Sunday

Your blooms are just gorgeous, Celestina! I love them all, but your pretty blue flowers are my favorite:) We sort of enjoyed a bit of spring down here, but it will be a long, long time coming back home in the Midwest! I do believe you have not one, but two green thumbs:)!

Oh what a beautiful post today. Thank you for all the lovely flowers. The photos are terrific. Soon you will have your beautiful garden.
I walked around looking at what I had planted the last couple of days in pots for color on the patio.
We finally got some much needed rain here today and night. That should really make the flowers stand up and perform.
Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful garden with us.
Have a wonderful week dear friend.

Your garden is stunning! The flowers are so pretty. It's such a peaceful place to meditate. My Hydrangeas are still sticks with frozen leaves. Our last harsh cold snap burned everything. I have enjoyed walking through your beautiful garden and can't wait for Spring to arrive!

Hello, May your flowers bloom bright and fill all the spaces that make us feel tired and worn. The calm you speak is so powerful and real. To think God put us in the garden right off, should tell us the effects of these beautiful things. These photos give me a smile and a hope of flowers to bloom very soon. Before this last snow, I saw my tulips starting to break through the ground. It seems like I am almost always the very last one to comment! I really enjoyed my visit today! Blessings, Roxy

Celestina,
The flowers in your garden are beautiful. It must be a sight walking out there with all the different colors of nature and taking in all the smells of the various flowers. I especially love the roses, and azaleas also hold a place in my heart. I can't wait to plant roses this spring at our new home, but I'm wondering what the best month is to do this is?

It would be nice to have a garden as pretty as yours, Celestina. I bet you can't wait for warm weather to come around to see all the flowers blooming again.

love, ~Sheri
