I found this fence interestingly created from large sticks.
Not sure a good wind wouldn't knock it down,
but it looks to be tied securely to stay put.
Just down a bit from the stick fence was a Texas Oil Well
Fenced in with barbed wire.

That stick fence is quite unique! Can you imagine how much time it took to construct? Crazy!

We have plenty of barbed wire fences here so it is great to see your natural, rustic offering.
The stick fence is simply wonderful.
We too have barbed wire fences - not 'in town' but on the agricultural land that surrounds the metro area.
That is quite the rustic fence,Celestina! It looks much more inviting than that barbed wire one:) I remember getting shocked more than a few times as a little girl on our farm by them. I am still afraid of them to this day!
So many types to discover when you take the time to obsreve!!!!#
nice ones! the first is like a coyote fence except the limbs are really tightly placed together. most coyote fences i've seen leave a small gap between them. thanks, celeste!
I love that first fence and I agree with Jacqueline it needs some pretty wild roses inter mingling with it. So cute.

Celeste, the stick fence is so unusual!I love the texture in it. I have seen some really cool craft projects with barbed wire lately. Two fences in great contrast to each other. I hope you're having a wonderful week!

the sticks are all different heights but put together is works as a fence.
I, too, like the stick fence. Someone has gone to a lot of trouble to weave the sticks together.
I'm running late tonight...trying to catch up on fence post. I love these fence post fences. My husband is working on one for me and I can't wait for him to finish the project. Very neat!!
