Hi Friends
Welcome to this week's
The Run Around Ranch Report.
Well this is not the pretty sight pink roses were on my last post but~~~
Well this is not the pretty sight pink roses were on my last post but~~~
Last week I shared with you a fence mixed with a grapevine
off the side of the road.
Not much to look at ~ and we all questioned if it was alive?
Would it green up with leaves and vines?
So last weekend we took a drive back over to the fence and here it is
filled with leaves and vines and growing beautiful.
Seeing it now, tells the rest of the story.
While grapevines can get as big as tree trunks, this one is clearly mixed with a tree.
Not sure what kind of tree.
Maybe an ash tree?
Any ideas?
The arbor is built on the inside part of the property and the vines are
growing nicely over the fence and onto the wood arbor.
Now the question is, will it produce grapes?
I'll just have to check back throughout the summer.
The story continues.
Thanks for stopping by.
See you soon.

It is quite funny to read posts about springtime when I am enjoying the various delights of Autumn...this afternoon I went for a nice long walk... There is so much heather blooming just now and it creates a beautiful picture for the eye:)
Have a blessed day, Celestina and much love!

Celeste,
Oh my what a delightful surprise! I guess we should never question Mother natures growing plans. Hope there is a profusion of grapes and makes tasty wine.
Happy holiday weekend to you and your family.

I bet it will produce grapes! Your photos are so pretty. :)
How fun to see the changes in the vine and the tree. Can't wait to see if the vine produces grapes.
Very cool! I was waiting for this post and really hoping it would be alive and full of life! Yay!
Pretty ugly out of season, but if the grapes come cane wine or jam be far behind?
Not sure what kind of tree it is but how neat to get to see everything leaf back out. A miracle, isn't it? Hugs!
Perhaps grapes will come. This is another lovely post.
Hugs

So glad to see that this was still alive and seems to be doing very well. Thanks for sharing this with all of us.
Have a great Memorial Day Week End.

What a beautifully amazing sign of spring, Celeste. :) We have a grapevine on a trellis my husband built in the back of our property. Each year it comes back and bears grapes for us....or rather....for the deer, because they always nab them first! lol

What a drastic change! Look forward to the updates.
Oh my gosh, that's amazing! Mother nature is very resourceful. The grape needed something to climb on so why not a tree!
Glad to see it leafing out! Will be anxious to see if it bears fruit!
Oh, such a wonderful change!
Have a lovely and blessed weekend
hug Crissi
Wow, it looks so different to your other picture! I hope you're having a lovely weekend.

hugs,
Cindy
Oh, I am so happy that it is growing and I bet it will have grapes on it.
Grape vines are pretty hardy. Well now you know where you can get some grape vines in the fall.
Thanks for sharing this....
