Mixing Wood and Stone
Welcome to another Thursday of
Mixing wood and stone posts with a zigzag pattern for this low fence in a well groomed
country side.
An easy jump for the horses near by as it opens up to another area no longer in a zig zag pattern,
and without the stone posts.
A very peaceful place for a good fence.
Thanks for stopping by.
Have a blessed day!

Good morning, the stone and wood fence is very pretty. Beautiful countryside and fence scene. Have a happy day!
Quite attractive!
The fields and hedgerows look so like the ones I see from my own windows, so bucolic!
Thanks for visiting Normandy today.
There are so many unique and pretty fences in your neck of the woods! I live in the land of white pickets. Your enclosures are much more interesting!
These fences are very well made, thanks for sharing. Hugs, Valerie
The zigzag fence is unusual. Does the design have a purpose or is it simply decorative I wonder?
Loving the fences and the beautiful scenery! Thanks for sharing...
Hugs,
Jan ♥
Very pretty, Celestina! You have an impressive amount of fences down there in TX! Have a great day:)
You find the prettiest fences around our wonderful state. :)

That's a great fence. Love the stone and wood combo. It's nice to see countryside pictures in your area. After going to Portland and visiting the city I realized just how much more I love the country vs. the city.
Beautiful countryside and fencing.....
A stunning presentation!
I forgot to mention that is one cool fencing too, the posts are incredible!
i like it, but i bet whoever mows near it must dread that zig-zag. :)
Good morning Celestina Marie! I have never seen a wood and stone fence like this one. It fits perfectly with the landscape. We live near some large estates and I am sure I will be noticing fences more today! Our Texas family is here away from the deluge in Dallas. I hope you are staying high and dry too!
I think that stone and wood are beautiful together! Dang girl, you have me wanting to go around now and find fences! LOL! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
Lovely! And nice view too. Our only views here are our neighbors. =(

Celestina, The fence is unique and mowing around it would be challenging.
Nice post! LJ
I like the mix of stone and wood! Very pretty rural scenes! Thanks!
Hi Celeste, my dear friend, this Zig Zag fence is wonderful! So different, but really funny! And, it is amazing, that you always can show us so many different and beautiful fences!

sending Love and hugs and blessings!
Hope, the heavy rain stopped!

I'd love to have a big sprawling property with a fence just like this around it. Beautiful!
Hugs,

Buenos dÃas querida celestina !! Que lindo paisaje campestre
I've never paid attention to fences until you and another blogger I follow joined "Good Fences". Thank you for your kind words on the Flea....Oh goodness, I am still recovering with a storage unit a mess and my garage...So much yet to do, but no hurry!
Carol
these 2 materials make for a lovely fence
That's a pretty fence, but looks like it might take a lot of upkeep with the bed under it. I was going to say the horses could jump that-. Have a super day!
What a beautiful unusual fence, I really like it. B
Beautiful fences!
It's beautiful and you took wonderful photos! Looks so peaceful and serene. Enjoy your day my friend. Hugs, Diane

The Zigzag pattern is really cool looking and I like the stone pillars. - Your presentation of this fence was lovely.
Oh, this is a very nice and neat fence! Love this. Hope you're getting ready for a nice weekend coming up. Thanks always for popping in to see me.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia :)
Love the fence. You are really finding some good ones. Thanks so much for sharing. Getting hot here. Guess I should complain, but where's the RAIN.
Have a great weekend.

Very Pretty!!!
It's fun to search for fence shots each week, isn't it?
Have a good evening.
I love anything with a wood and stone combination! So very pretty! Wishing you a lovely Friday!! Nicole xo
Gorgeous landscape!
This is quite the interesting stone and wood zig-zag fence. I have reviewed your previous posts and am caught up now. I always enjoy visiting you dear...June JOY.
I love the rustic elegance that the stone brings to the weathered wood! Great fence this week! Many blessings, Cindy
beautiful fences in beautiful surroundings...
Very different, Must have cost a pretty penny.
I am just upset, my new Gardner has been
working on a small rock Garden for TWO days now
and not finished yet, and it won't be either.
He makes $8 an hour at work and charges $15 hr
to garden. I have done that Garden for years.
I don't mind paying but he is milking
it for all it's worth. This 79 yr old cow just went dry.
I am so upset with these who pray on old people.
My neighbor just got ripped off also.
I think I'll just have a wild Garden next year.
Wood and stone....a fabulous combination because being surrounded by natural elements grounds you to the earth. It just feels cozy and good! Have a super Friday my friend! Anita
Pretty scenes!! Lovely fencing...but I'd be like our hostess, wondering about the mowing when so near to the zig-zag.
These are so pretty, Celeste! I adore the rock pillar and wooden fence! It provides such interest to the landscape! Thanks for sharing these beauties! Have a fantastic weekend!
Good fences indeed.
Lovely. As you say, very peaceful scenes.
Piece-and beautiful, I have never seen such a fence before, -what a special thing and big work, to do for fencing . If meant to, a wonderful place for the horses to grass, and jump, dear Celestina Marie..
Happy week-end, Dorthe, xo
I really like the combination for this fence. Love your photos!
Love that fence! I love the mix of wood and stone pillars, but that zig zag going on makes you take notice.
