Today I have something a little different.
I shared this shot some time ago from a trip to the Hill Country.
Pretty white picket fence in the country.
With my brush, I was inspired from my photo,
to paint this.
Yes it has it's changes, but that's okay because it's all apart of my formula for painting.
Adding the details~
Imagining the scene with more color.
Dreaming with a brush in hand and creating a good fence.

Dearest Celestina...you are just so amazingly talented, and have captured the unique, beautiful charm of this little white picket fence... The flowers you've formed with your brush are gorgeous, as is the sweet cottage in the background. I would love to live in such a place as that, especially one with all those pretty flowers gracing the garden! I would pick fresh lovelies each day for my home:)
Oh, I have missed visiting with you! What a busy few weeks it has been, I just haven't had the chance to catch up with all my dear blogging friends!

Oh the Hill Country of Texas, one of my favorite spots to visit. Such a beautiful terrain and I think we appreciate it more, because we both live in North Texas and know that our terrain is just a tad lacking. You have chosen beautiful hues and such a lovely interpretation of the painting. You have such a talent!

Dear friend, your rendition is glorious. As you show the details up close, I can see how skillful you are in capturing the essence and not the exact subject; funny how that suggestion expressed more of the detail than attempting detail...art is a conundrum but from those like you who can communicate the magic, it makes sense to us observers!
