Hi Friends
Most of you know I have a door urn on my front door
and
decorate it for each season.
Here is my fall look this year.
Filled with antique roses, sunflowers and some boxwood here and there.
I added a greeting sign by gluing two metal ornaments
to wood sticks and popped them right in the arrangement.
Welcome, Fall is here.
well almost~~~
We still have some hot weather, but Autumn is trying to arrive.
I believe our first greeting and impression starts right at the front door
so I always decorate my porch and door.
Still too warm for the pumpkins, but they will
be added in a couple weeks.
The door is painted a Farmhouse Red by Ralph Lauren.
The door urn is from Hobby Lobby about 5 years ago
but I have seen it still there in the metal section by the terra cotta pots.

Oh...this is SO absolutely beautiful! Is the urn a half urn with a flat back and how is it connected to your door? I really like this idea and you have chosen such a lovely arrangement and gorgeous colors! I am going to start decorating this weekend. Love the colors and the arrangement of florals. I like the little tags you made for it too. It's crisp here in the mornings and the sense of fall is in the air. I'm getting the bug to decorate for fall more and more! We're going to the farmers market tomorrow to see what I can find. Perhaps some peaches and apples! Have a great weekend!

There's something almost magical about hot pink and orange that screams, "This is an outrageous season, I demand you ENJOY!" Not that you would ever demand, but love the audacity of this arrangement, just made me smile, and scream a bit too.

Your door decoration is just lovely! I do love all these fall colors! It is very warm here too, summer is not willing to budge! In due time, fall will arrive. I just hope fall arrives and stays for a good long while as it is my favorite time of year! Your porch will be even more festive once you add the pumpkins. Have fun decorating for fall!

Quite lovely, Celestina ~ I love the look of the vintage roses, and your color choice is beautiful with your Ralph Lauren door.
I'm sure the remainder of your decorating will be just as lovely.
I was thinking about putting my fall decorations out next week. We have had a couple nights with frost, so my summer flowers will soon be on their way.
Our leaves are already beginning to change and it's not looking like the prettiest of changes. Maybe to much rain over the summer, that plays a part in the changing of colors. We shall see as time goes on.

Stunning and very Autumn Beautiful. Your décor definitely says Welcome! Here it is triple digits and very smokey from the fires. The sun was almost the shade of your lovely red door. However for the sun it was eerie to see it blood red as it was going down. Falling into Autumn Bliss...

Absolutely Gorgeous, wonderful job with the arrangement and I love the little tags in there too, great way to welcome guest to your home. We saw pumpkins at the store yesterday but we too decided to wait since we have a few more warm days left.
