Hi Friends
and
here we are the last day of November~
Where did the month go?
So I'll wish you
a
Happy December!
Still raining here in Texas
and a great time to be in the studio
creating.
My Christmas decorating is complete
and now it's time to enjoy the season.
Last week I worked on a few fun bottle brush tree designs
using vintage mini tea cups,
muffin cups and peat pots for bases.
To create them I used
E6000 glue, hot glue,
pipe cleaners, trims, ribbon, silk flowers, snow flakes,
basket filler and Spanish moss and more.
The skies the limit to your accents
and no set rules to this.
Just add what you have on hand in your craft stash.
To the inside of all the bases,
I glued a wood block with E6000
for the tree to be glued too.
It looks something like this to begin.
Next add the tree
and
let dry overnight and you're ready to decorate.
Hot glue to hold in the trees and blocks may come loose
so E6000 is the way to go.
Here are a few ideas I came up with.
That's it.
Got a cup with a chip?
Perfect to use on something like this.
This was fun and makes a great little gift or home decoration.
For these with saucers, I didn't glue the saucers to the cup
but you could do that, add a hanger to the top
and it becomes a tree ornament.
Before I go for today,
Let me remind you of the
Christmas in Texas Blog Hop Home Tour
beginning~
Dec.7th through the 11th.
See you next time.
Merry Christmas!

Celestina, those are just darling!! What a beautiful way to display both the teacup and the Christmas tree.
Why, those would be perfect for an elderly person who is not able to put a tree up or even has the space for a tree, love it!
I was busy this weekend putting up our Christmas trees, yes trees. I so enjoy having the tree in our master bedroom with both your hand painted rose hearts and Stephanie lace ornaments, oh it's such a gorgeous tree. Now if I could only captured a good photo of it. :-)
I enjoyed my visit here with you, sweet friend. Enjoy your day, even in the rain.
Thinking of you getting rain makes me sing the song "singing in the rain." A lot can be accomplished while it is raining outside. :-)

Your supplies may be simple but your end results are exquisite. E6000 is definitely the glue to use. Stay safe from flooding dear. Christmas Calm...

Hello again,
Oh, how silly of me. I wanted to make sure you knew which tree I loved so much, I did not even notice that all the trees have your signature on them; I thought it was just the name of that one design.
Well, my favorite is the (top) pastel tree.
Thank you for visiting my blog this morning.
