Welcome to Good Fences in December.
The country side here in Texas is beautiful.
I love it~
and a day like this is peaceful, inspiring and just plain joyful.
With the busyness of the season,
it's good to take the time to look around at our surroundings
and take in the blessings of nature.
We don't usually have snow here,
but I grew up with plenty in Michigan
so that's okay.
I know many of you already have the pretty white stuff.
I'll enjoy your photos when you share them.
Till then,
Come walk around the countryside in search of
Good Fences.
See you next time.
Happy December!

I agree that the countryside in your area is scenic!
The one with the huge barren tree is my favorite!!!!
Every part of this vast country seems to have its own beauty.
Pretty scenery!
Have a great day!

The countryside is wonderful, as are the fences. Hugs, Valerie
It was a great walk Celeste! I enjoyed the scenery AND the fences : )You have beautiful landscape and I like the soft rolling hills. Thank you for sharing! (I grew up - well, almost 12yrs, in MI too:) Have a Blessed day~ Karen O
You do have great rural scenery & I love the photos with the cattle especially!
Isn't it good to go outdoors & breathe in that fresh crisp air!
Hello, your do live ina beautiful area. The farmland and cattle are always a lovely sight. Wonderful images. Have a happy day!
Looks like the cow in the last shot was posing for you, Celestina:) I do love wide open spaces, your photos are great. The electric barbed wire fence reminds me of when I was a little girl. We had it on our farm, and I was always getting an electric shock from it when I would play too close to it! Still gives me chills just thinking about it!
Celeste,
Ahhh the wide open countryside of Texas. i enjoyed this little stroll through your photos. But I'm curious did you gesture or call the cow to get its attention for the perfect photo?!!!

Well I did enjoy your lovely Texas countryside and fences. Yes we've had the "white stuff" here already. I think I prefer your weather.
That was a cool tree in that one shot.
Hello Sweet Texas Friend,
I love our Texas and the wide open spaces that still surround us.
I have been enjoying my day out in the wide open spaces today, and oh it has done my heart and soul so much good.
Enjoy your beautiful day!

Hello there Celeste! A place with wide open spaces, animals and plenty of fresh air is alright by me. I so love the outer metro area surrounding the Twin Cities because there is open farmland, horse farms (my favorite) and beautiful farms. OH THE JOY! Enjoy!
A nice visit in the country where you can enjoy nature
s blessings.
Very peaceful scenes. Hope you are enjoying this joyful month.
I do enjoy going out and about in your neighborhood of Texas looking for Good Fences. So very idyllic is the countryside and the cows. Beautiful days dear...
Beautiful photos, I especially like the one with the barren tree and of course the cow!
What gorgeous pictures, Celeste, and what a beautiful, perfect day we had here today.
I'm excited to see you tomorrow...xo!
I love those country fences! And I especially love *no snow*! Bless you, Cindy xoxo
I LOVE that third shot! The others are nice, too.
Un-stop-a-bull!

It just amazed me when we went out west and the fences would go on forever and I just thought wow the time it would take to go around and check all those fences to make sure they are still in working order must be quite the job.
I didn't know you grew up in Michigan, so did I until I was 20 when my hubby joined the Air Force. I grew up in Owosso, between Flint and Lansing :)
Love the countryside and the cattle
Lovely! I would be thrilled if we skipped the snow this year...maybe we could swap? I'll send you some snow and you send me some cattle! ;)
